Next, we will collaboratively prioritize these tasks based on criteria relevant to your organization and group the prioritized items into phases to ensure that measurable and meaningful results are achieved with the first roll out.

We perform the necessary analysis, configuration and scripting and test the automation to ensure that it meets requirements, including end-to-end compatibility within the elements that are being automated and with the devices, processes and software that are inputs and outputs of the automated components.

Business Links has worked extensively with open source configuration management and monitoring tools such as Nagios, Chef and Puppet as well as NetApp’s OnCommand Workflow Automation platform to:

  • Develop dashboards and reports to monitor networks, workload, disk usage, environmental factors and other metrics;
  • Send notifications, when monitoring metrics indicate service or host problems and when these problems are resolved.
  • Monitor system utilization rates for capacity planning;
  • Manage provisioning or decommissioning assets; and
  • Manage configuration changes, including integration with business workflow such as tiered approval processes.
